Our clients include Community Health Workers, Community Health Worker Instructors, and the organizations that employ them.
About the Role
Looking for candidates with strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, including various social media platforms. Candidate must possess strong critical thinking skills, creativity, enthusiasm, and a strong online skills. Will need to perform literature reviews and contribute to presentations and workshops that support e-learning and v-instructor led training (v-ILT). Other duties as agreed upon per academic practicum requirements.
Currently pursuing a degree or certificate in Health, Public Health, Nursing, Communication, IT, or Journalism
Prior experience as an intern
3.0 GPA or higher
Proficient in virtual conferencing platforms
Equipment needed: Laptop, webcam, internet acces

An internship experience with Umemba Health is intended to provide the student learner with practical experience in community/public health. Oversight of the intern will be provided by a qualified public health preceptor. In addition to the above mentioned activities, development and utilization of original activities is stressed, and periodic progress reports are required.
